Social projects

La Réserve de Beaulieu & Spa is committed to supporting social solidarity causes and encourages both guests and staff to take part in meaningful initiatives.

• Placing a ‘Giving Bag’ in each room, allowing our guests to donate clothing and items they no longer need to local charities.
• Mobilising for the charity ‘Tout le monde contre le Cancer’ during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, by taking part in initiatives to raise awareness and support the fight against breast cancer.
• Taking part in the Téléthon in Beaulieu-sur-Mer on 5 December.
• Supporting the charity ‘Que de l’Amour’, established in memory of Théo, the son of one of our partners. La Réserve supports the initiatives led by the charity, such as sponsoring an orphanage in Arusha, Tanzania, and running an outreach initiative to help the homeless in Nice.

Sustainable partnerships

La Réserve de Beaulieu & Spa prioritises sustainable partnerships with local and regional stakeholders in order to showcase the expertise, produce and talent of our region, while promoting more responsible consumption.

• Showcasing regional craftsmanship by collaborating with local artisans and businesses for the hotel’s décor, guest amenities and selected products offered within the establishment.
  These collaborations include ashtrays crafted by Mr Tino Aiello in Vallauris, gourmet gifts by Alziari, Fragonard amenities, beers from the Brasserie du Comté, artisan herbal teas by Anne Menoret from the Roya Valley, as well as other creations and products products crafted in the region.
• Prioritising short supply chains and local expertise, by incorporating, wherever possible, products and creations from producers, artisans and businesses in our region.
• Collecting and repurposing used soap in partnership with SapoCycle, to transform used soap into new bars for people in need.

Regional heritage

Deeply rooted in the Côte d’Azur, La Réserve de Beaulieu & Spa contributes to showcasing the cultural, architectural and gastronomic heritage of the region by introducing guests to the richness and craftsmanship that define its identity.

• Showcasing regional gastronomic heritage through our menus, which highlight the products, expertise and culinary inspirations emblematic of the Côte d’Azur and the Mediterranean. (See the ‘Menus’ section).
• Promoting the Villa Kérylos, an architectural gem located in Beaulieu-sur-Mer and owned by the Institut de France, which we recommend to our guests so they can discover this iconic local landmark.
• Highlighting the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, remarkable for its architecture, collections and gardens. The villa and its gardens are protected historical monuments, while the gardens also hold the ‘Jardin remarquable’ label.

Environmental projects

Mindful of the richness and fragility of its natural environment, La Réserve de Beaulieu & Spa is actively committed to preserving the local area and encourages its employees to get involved in local environmental initiatives.

• Participating in coastal cleanup and preservation initiatives, held twice a year on the beaches of Beaulieu-sur-Mer, bringing together members of our teams for concrete actions to protect the marine environment and the quality of our coastline.
• Raising employees’ awareness of environmental preservation issues, by encouraging them to actively participate in local initiatives to protect nature and the coastline.
